She was very frightened because she had never encountered such a situation in all her life. It left her petrified.
Her body was trembling in fear and she resisted with all her might when Jagoan covered her mouth. Tears streamed down her face when she thought about how the man could treat her indecently.
Still, he clutched her hands tightly, so no matter how hard she struggled, her efforts were futile.
She regretted not learning self-defense like her father told her to in the past. She would not be so defenseless in a situation like that if she had studied martial arts!
“Sob…”
She was whining constantly with tears gushing from her eyes. The sight of her was pitiful and Jagoan could not find it in his heart to watch her.
He thought about how much hardship he had endured in Shangri-la just so he could return here, only for him to be caught in such a situation. He felt that some higher power had to be playing a joke on him.
Hence, he said softly, “I’m not a bad man. I’m here by accident due to some unique circumstances… Alright, you won’t believe me even if I were to tell you.”
“I’m not a bad man anyhow and I won’t treat you indecently either. I’m going to let go of you now, so please don’t scream anymore, okay?”
Jagoan spoke in a gentle tone so as not to startle the woman.
Perhaps it was due to his tone, the woman was much calmer. She nodded gently while Jagoan loosened his grip.
However, the woman shouted aloud as soon as Jagoan loosened his grip, “Help…”
Jagoan’s expression stiffened for a moment, and he immediately heard the bodyguards approaching from the corridor. It was apparent that they had heard the commotion and were alarmed.
He could only heave a sigh when he realized that he had been careless.
He could not allow anybody else to see him in such a state regardless. Otherwise, he would bring disgrace up on himself.
He removed his hand from the woman’s mouth and swiftly grabbed the curtain next to him, pulling it down swiftly as he waited for the bodyguards to charge into the room.
The bodyguards were fast. Moreover, Jagoan could tell that they were rather powerful. To his astonishment, they were all master fighters.
A woman with so many master fighters as her bodyguards signified that she was quite an important person.
Moreover, two of the bodyguards were Tier-3 master fighters.
Even though such fighters were merely weaklings to Jagoan, they were still considered very powerful in the eyes of the world.
There was a bang as they kicked the door open, and five bodyguards charged into the room.
“What happened, miss?”
The bodyguard at the front was a middle-aged Tier-3 master fighter. He seemed very strong and his eyes were wide, brimming with lively radiance like huge light bulbs!
He quickly spotted Jagoan in the room when he entered and his pupils constricted.
The other four bodyguards reacted similarly. They had huge reactions when they saw Jagoan, especially after noticing that he was naked. Other than anger, they felt terrified!
