With both of them in agreement, the two women began making a plan.
Over at Jagoan’s side, he followed Ivanka into the venue.
He had no choice but to acknowledge that Ivanka was rather well-regarded there. As soon as she showed up, she immediately drew the attention of many.
“Look, Ivanka’s here…”
“Whoa, Ivanka looks ravishing tonight.”
“Of course. Ivanka has always been one of the prettiest in our circle of friends.”
“Huh, who is that dude standing next to Ivanka? He doesn’t look familiar and I haven’t seen him around. Do any of you know him?”
“I’ve never seen him before. Moreover, he doesn’t look like he’s from our circle. He’s so average and he’s dressed in such cheap clothes. What’s wrong with him?”
“Fuck, look at how Ivanka is being so respectful to him. What the heck is going on?”
As Jagoan walked along the way, he heard many criticisms made toward him.
He said to Ivanka, “It seems that your friends aren’t very welcoming of me.”
Ivanka immediately said, “That’s not the case, Mr. Larson. In truth, they admire you very much. It’s just that I didn’t mention your identity to them because I came in a rush. I shall introduce you to them now!”
Jagoan waved his hand dismissively and said, “It’s fine. Go ahead and be with your friends. I shall wait for your father here.”
Jagoan could not care less about the options of such young people. He came here tonight with one goal in mind and that was Boris.
However, Ivanka appeared to be slightly embarrassed when she said, “Uh, it’s possible that my dad won’t be here so soon. Why don’t I introduce you to them first? They’re big fans of yours!”
Seeing the pleading and yearning look in Ivanka’s eyes, Jagoan hesitated for a moment before he nodded and said, “Alright.”
Ivanka was delighted to receive Jagoan’s approval. She hastily wrapped her arm around his and walked inside at a brisk pace.
Jagoan could immediately sense that many men at the scene were looking toward him hostilely when she wrapped her arm around his.
The scene felt really familiar.
Jagoan shook his head in frustration. He did not expect that he still could not avoid situations like this after achieving invincibilis state.
Ivanka led Jagoan to the crowd and said, “Please allow me to introduce to everyone. This is Mr. Jagoan Larson that I mentioned to all of you!”
As it happened, the crowd of people did not react much after hearing Ivanka’s introduction. They remained indifferent, which was an obvious sign that they did not know Jagoan.
In fact, someone had even whispered softly, “Jagoan Larson? Who’s that? I’ve never heard of him before…”
“You’re right. Is he a new celebrity? But he isn’t even good-looking.”
“Could it be that he’s Ivanka’s boyfriend?”
“That’s impossible. Isn’t she engaged to Jean Cyprus?”
“I have no idea…”
Ivanka immediately furrowed her brows after noticing how unbothered they were. She said in a displeased tone, “Why aren’t you excited? This is Jagoan Larson! Mr. Larson! He’s a legendary figure in our country!”
