Clap!
A slap landed on Hydrakandy’s face heavily. The force was so strong that it blasted her away before she crashed into a pillar and slid down to the ground.
The servant Margery witnessed the scene as she guarded the door. She was so shocked that her eyebrows were twitching. She hastily lowered her head and did not have the courage to watch anymore.
Naturally, the slap was delivered by Hydradiara.
Faye was astonished beyond comparison to witness that.
She did not expect that a woman would suddenly show up when she was on the brink of death and save her in such a brutal way. Moreover, the woman delivered a heavy slap to Hydrakandy.
All at once, she was slightly confused and wondered if Hydradiara was a kind person.
Half of Hydrakandy’s face was swollen from the slap, but her pain was nothing compared to the anger and hatred she felt in her heart.

Faye was frightened by the sight of Hydrakandy because Hydrakandy looked no different from a madman.
However, Hydradiara’s expression did not change for the slightest bit but she remained cold and indifferent as before. She blurted nonchalantly, “Leave.”
Hydrakandy was even more furious, but she did not have the or skill courage to engage Hydradiara in a fight.
“Fine!” Hydrakandy was embarrassed and pointed at Hydradiara. “How dare you defend the bitch? I’m going to tell Father and see how you’re going to defend her afterward!”
Upon saying that, she immediately turned around and left.
She casted a malicious look upon Margery when she walked past. Margery trembled in fear instantly upon seeing Hydrakandy’s gaze. Her forehead was drenched in cold sweat and her head was lowered even more.
At last, Hydradiara waved her hand in Hydrakandy’s departure and said to Margery, “You may leave now.”
“Yes, miss!”
Margery hastily bowed then left in a hurry.
When everyone had left, Hydradiara turned around and said to Faye, “I’m sorry, sis. I’m sorry that you’ve been mistreated here.”
As she spoke, she attempted to hold Faye’s hand.
However, Faye was startled by Hydradiara’s action and took two steps back subconsciously to avoid her.
Hydradiara was not infuriated upon witnessing that. On the contrary, she felt even more guilty.
“I’m sorry for scaring you earlier, sis.” Hydradiara hastily apologized in a very sincere manner. In fact, it was as if she was trying to please Faye.
Faye did not feel as flustered as she when she looked at her. She could tell that the woman before her was not hostile. Indeed, there was an ineffable feeling of intimacy and charm.
Was she really her younger sister?
After the incident with Hydrakandy, she had already lost the courage to trust the people there.
