Jagoan was enlightened upon hearing that. He came to realize that the presence he exuded after he reached the invincibilis state was too powerful.
Even when he was not displaying his prowess on purpose, the subordinates around him were under immense pressure, and as a result, they feared him.
In truth, Jagoan was not worried that his subordinate would betray him at his current level. It was because he was already powerful to a certain extent.
Anyone who had the courage to betray Jagoan would need to consider if he was strong enough to endure a punch from the man.
However, Luke had already been working for him for a very long time. It was unnecessary for him to tremble in fear around him.
He patted Luke’s shoulder, smiled, and said, “Don’t worry. I’m still your employer just as before. As long as you’re doing your job well, I won’t do anything bad to you.”
It was possibly due to Jagoan’s smile being infectious or that Jagoan’s presence was much more softer than before, Luke felt like he was under less pressure.
However, he still felt fearful toward Jagoan. In fact, his respect for Jagoan had grown even deeper because he knew how powerful and authoritative Jagoan had become. Jagoan was as powerful as a small country!
“Thank you, sir,” said Luke while bowing.
Jagoan paused for a moment before he said, “Oh right. The world hasn’t been very peaceful recently. It’s best for you, Sean, and Gordon not to stay out too much.”
“Assign more bodyguards to protect yourselves and take care of your safety, okay? If anything bad happens, you may call me at once and I’ll handle it for you.”
Luke felt grateful upon hearing that. He immediately got down on one knee and said in a solemn manner, “Thank you, sir! I will take care of my safety for sure!”
“Hmm, good.”
Jagoan nodded. He chatted with Luke for a while more and guided him on his martial arts training. Luke was enlightened and felt deeply grateful to Jagoan.
He headed home when it was time.
Ever since Faye was abducted, he spent less time at home. Frankly, it was due to Faye’s absence. Secondly, his identity was different, in addition to the ongoing war.
It was better for him not to spend time at home to prevent implicating his family members.
With Faye in trouble, he had the duty to protect the safety of his in-laws. He could never allow anything bad to happen to them.
He had assigned a few master fighters to guard them. If anything bad were to happen, he would be notified at once.
However, he received a call suddenly that made his heart sink when he left Luke’s place!
The call came from a master fighter bodyguard and Jagoan immediately had an ominous feeling when he got the call.
After picking up the call, he heard a stranger’s voice coming from the call. “Jagoan Larson?”
It was a man’s voice, energetic and powerful. The voice was hoarse, the classic sign of a smoker. The man’s tone was filled with intense ferocity and malice!
Jagoan’s vision sharpened instantly upon hearing the voice.
He could tell that the man was a skilled fighter. Moreover, the man was a super powerhouse, a Level-3 invincibilis fighter at the very least!
One should know that there were only a total of three levels in invincibilis state including Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3.
Even though they were all invincibilis fighters, the disparity between them was huge!
For example, Bjorn was a Level-1 invincibilis fighter, but if he were to compare to a Level-3 invincibilis fighter, he was no different than someone who was half a step away from the invincibilis state.
