Upon hearing the voice, Faye immediately remembered that the owner of the voice was Osiris!
It was her biological father.

The door opened up in the next moment and a refined, scholar-like man walked into the room. Who else could it be if not Osiris?
It was very strange. Osiris had a faint smile on his face and did not exude his presence on purpose after entering the room. Still, Faye could feel his immense dominance.
Her mind worked quickly, allowing her to remember her conversation earlier. Could it be that Osiris approved of her relationship with Jagoan?
She was pleasantly surprised at first, but she calmed down soon enough to think that Osiris would not be so easygoing.
Osiris entered the room and waved his hand nonchalantly to dismiss them. He said, “At ease.”
Hydradiara stood up straight and relaxed her posture.
“Diara, I heard that you’ve been visiting your elder sister frequently these days. It seems that both of you have a close relationship,” said Osiris smilingly.
Hydradiara said, “Father, even though Hydralerna has been away for a long time, she’s still our elder sister. Now that she’s back, I’d like to rekindle our relationship naturally.”
“Hmm, very well.” Osiris said, “You’re much better than your younger sister. Kandy is immature and has a bone to pick with your elder sister. If you’re free, you should spend more time building your younger sister’s character, okay?”
“Yes, Father.”
Osiris cast his gaze to Faye in the meantime. He smiled and said, “Oh, Lerna. Do you find your stay here pleasant since you’ve been back?”
Faye did not answer, but she kept her head lowered all this time.
Noticing her reaction, Hydradiara was rather concerned. She hastily casted a look at Faye, but Faye behaved as if she was oblivious.
Osiris’ eyes glistened for a moment before vanishing immediately.
He cracked a smile and said, “Lerna. It seems that you still hate me. Sigh, I did rush things a little when I brought you home indeed. I didn’t notify you in advance, but I did it for your own good.”
“I believe that you’d understand that you’re born and brought up here. You have the Sones’ blood coursing through your veins and you’re going to come back to us sooner or later.”
Faye was quiet for a moment before she said, “Will I be able to return to where I came from?”
Hydradiara was anxious at once upon hearing that. She hastily cast a look at Faye to stop her from speaking.
Faye noticed that and she came to realize that she was being impulsive when she made the remark. However, she found that she was incapable of keeping her cool when she was speaking to Osiris!
She would never forget how her so-called father tormented her during this period of time!
Moreover, Faye was well aware that her so-called biological father did not have any fatherly affection for her.
Faye was prepared to be punished by Osiris in anger when she said so.
