After all, Jagoan killed Javier and King Erik from Regicide Heofon.
They chatted for a while and expressed their longing and affection for each other in every exchange.
However, Faye did not have the courage to speak too much.
She let out two forced coughs and said, “This is the situation, Jagoan. I told my father about us and he approved of our marriage. He wants to meet you in person, so will it be convenient for you to come over for a visit soon?”
Faye said softly, her tone filled with anticipation and anxiety.
However, Jagoan felt his heart racing upon hearing that.
What he was worried might happen, had happened. Faye’s call was incited by Osiris, just as expected. He did it to lure him to Regicide Heofon!
He thought about the possibility before, but he had never expected that it would happen.
He pondered closely and came to realize that Osiris’s action was well within his expectations. It signified that Osiris knew about Jagoan’s close relationship with Faye and knew that Jagoan would never give up on Faye easily.
Then, Osiris persuaded Faye to call up Jagoan by using Faye’s love for Jagoan.
Jagoan was sensible enough to know that he would most probably die if he were to go over to Regicide Heofon by himself now!
However, did he have a reason to reject Faye now that Faye said so to him?
Over at Faye’s side, she realized that something was off after noticing Jagoan’s silence. She asked cautiously in a haste, “Jagoan, if you still have other affairs to attend to, you can come over later…”
Faye was just as considerate as she was in the past.
Jagoan felt warm and fuzzy inside upon hearing that. At the same time, he felt extremely helpless in the situation.
Could he reject Faye, the woman that he loved the most in his life?
Just as he was preparing to speak, a man’s voice was heard. “Oh, Jagoan. I’m Faye’s father, your father-in-law, and I’d like to meet you.”
Jagoan’s expression turned icy cold immediately upon hearing the voice.
He could tell that the person was Osiris. Moreover, Osiris said it so straightforwardly. He sounded very friendly on the surface but Jagoan could tell immediately that there was threat in Osiris’ tone.
Something bad would surely happen to Faye if he were to refuse to go!
Osiris was despicable and shameless!
Osiris was so malicious despite being Faye’s father.
However, did Jagoan have a choice to turn hostile against Osiris now?
Not if he wanted Faye to live.
Hence, he cracked a smile and said, “Sure, Father. I’ll be there, but I don’t know your location and I wonder if you can tell me?”
Osiris’s voice was heard coming from the call. “That’s simple. Lerna and I are in Regicide Heofon today. My good son-in-law, I believe that you know where Regicide Heofon is. I’ll be waiting for you.”
