Osiris smiled and patted Faye’s shoulder. He smiled while he said, “Is that so? I look forward to it then.”
Over at Jagoan’s side, he heaved a sigh and felt as if his chest was weighed down with anxiety after he hung up the call.
Frankly, he did consider saving Faye from Regicide Heofon, but the day was upon him sooner than he had expected.
He had yet to progress to his most powerful state and he was not fully prepared for the task. He was caught off guard by Osiris’ plot.
Moreover, Rheasia and the common world still needed him because of the ongoing world war.
He shook his head and dispelled the distracting thoughts. He would never give up on Faye regardless. Since the day of reckoning was upon him in advance, he would not run away like a coward either.
