She shoved Jagoan’s hand away immediately. She was hostile toward him and detested him.
“It’s me, Jagoan…”
Jagoan uttered softly, his tone extremely gentle. It sounded like the most gentle voice in the world.
On the other hand, the initially agitated Faye was immediately stunned upon hearing his voice. Her expression was overwhelmed with emotions and her eyes were widened, incredulous.
In fact, the first thought that came into her mind was that she was delusional!
Otherwise, why would she hear Jagoan’s voice there?
One should know that she was in Regicide Heofon while the man seated opposite her was named Larson Carter.
Hence, she felt that she must be delusional because she missed Jagoan too much and had already begun to lose her mind!
Jagoan could tell from her behavior that she assumed that she had misheard him. His face slowly began to change, transforming back into his original look.
Faye widened her eyes in surprise as she watched helplessly, her expression overwhelmed with emotions. She covered her mouth and looked at Jagoan in shock as he changed back to his original appearance.
Despite her calm exterior, she was absolutely shocked. She found it hard to believe that the man she missed dearly day and night would show up before her in such a manner. It did not make any sense at all to her.
Next, she felt her hands being held by a pair of warm yet strong hands. Moreover, Jagoan’s familiar voice was heard once again.
“I’m sorry for being late, Jagoan. I’m sorry that you suffered all this time… I swear that I won’t leave you anymore from now on.”
Faye heard him loud and clear. Instantly, tears streamed down her face, flowing down her cheeks and staining her clothes.
It really was Jagoan!
After being married for so many years, she could recognize him at once. She could see that the man before her was really her husband. It was Jagoan!
The feeling was truly ineffable, not even a ride on the roller coaster felt as exhilarating.
She had already lost hope initially, yet she did not expect that hope and happiness would show up to her in the next moment.
Jagoan felt the urge to cry and his eyes reddened with tears upon witnessing her reaction. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her.
He lowered his tone and said in a deeply loving, affectionate voice, “I’ve finally found you, Jagoan. I’ve finally found you. I missed you so much during this period of time, I missed you every single day!”
Faye became even more agitated upon hearing that. She was sobbing harder and hugging Jagoan tightly. She wanted to fuse her body with Jagoan so badly.
They would never part again.
They hugged for a while before Faye spoke, “Jagoan, is this real? Are you really here?”
Even though Jagoan had hugged her for a long time, Faye was still in disbelief because it felt so unreal.
She could not figure out how he transformed himself into another person!
