Jagoan had not only deceived her but everybody else as well.
Jagoan said softly, “It really is me… It’s a new skill I picked up since my return from Shangri-la…”
Next, he told Faye about the things that had recently happened.
Faye exhaled a long breath when he was done. She felt her anxiety reduced substantially at last, but she suddenly remembered something.
She said anxiously, “Oh no! There are many super powerhouses guarding the place and my father, Osiris, is terrifyingly powerful, Jagoan. There’s nothing you can do to get me out of here!”
Jagoan looked at her deeply and said, “Don’t worry, Jagoan. The fact that I’m here signifies that I have absolute confidence that I can get you out of here safely!”
Next, Jagoan told Jagoan about his plan.
Faye’s expression relaxed slightly upon hearing it.
However, she was still deeply concerned. She had gained a rough understanding of Regicide Heofon’s power during her time there.
She knew that Jagoan had a chance to escape, but it would be extremely arduous for him to do so with her in tow because she was a conspicuous burden!
She bit her lower lip, made the difficult decision and shoved away Jagoan while she said, “I think it will be best for you to leave by yourself, Jagoan. ”
Jagoan was stunned upon hearing that. He hastily said, “Why?”
“Because it’s too dangerous.” Faye shook her head, reluctant for Jagoan to risk his life for her.
Jagoan was visibly moved upon hearing that, but he was frustrated as well.
He shook his head and said, “Silly girl, I’ve already come this far, so how can I possibly give up now? Plus, we’re a married couple and we’ve been through so much over the years. I won’t abandon you even if the road ahead is filled with imminent danger!”
“But…”
“No buts. Could it be that you don’t believe in me?”
Faye and Jagoan looked into each other’s eyes. In the end, Faye nodded and grasped his hands tightly, their fingers interlaced. “Jagoan, we will never leave each other. We will be together for this life, the next, and forever!”
Jagoan beamed. He nodded strenuously and said, “Undoubtedly! We’ll be together for eternity. Now, follow my plan and we’ll certainly make it out of here!”
“Sure!” Faye nodded strenuously.
Jagoan snuck out from the room in the middle of the night. He had transformed himself back and was moving swiftly to finish off the people guarding the building in secret!
Moreover, he checked out the escape route quickly and noticed that everything was fine. It was the middle of the night when the defence was at its weakest point. He returned and left with Faye!
He had come up with the plan in the past few days. If he could manage it well, he believed that there was a high probability that they could escape from Regicide Heofon!
Faye was a Tier-2 master fighter. Even though Osiris implanted a tracker in her body, Jagoan managed to remove it without causing any permanent injury to her body.
She changed into a blacksuit and joined him to leave.
Not long after they left, in a discreet location of Regicide Heofon where Osiris’ residence was, Osiris suddenly opened his eyes and said in a deep voice, “Something has happened.”
